The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem represents Christians around the world who stand with Israel and the Jewish people based on biblical principles and promises. Founded in 1980, the ICEJ recognizes the modern-day restoration of Israel as the faithfulness of God to keep His ancient covenant promises to the Jewish people.
The Christian Embassy continues to pursue our founding mandate to:
• Be a source of comfort for the Jewish people according to Isaiah 40:1.
• Encourage Christians to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the Land of Israel.
• Teach and equip the global Church regarding God’s purposes for Israel and the Middle East today.
• Advocate for Israel around the world and combat antisemitism in all its forms.
• Engage in benevolent projects for the well-being of all peoples in the Land of Israel.
• Bring reconciliation between Jews, Christians and Arabs, and support the churches and congregations of the Holy Land.
The ICEJ remains at the forefront of the unprecedented, ever-expanding movement among Christians worldwide who stand with Israel and the Jewish people in sincere friendship and in obedience to Scripture. We seek to express in practical ways our indebtedness to the Jewish people for all the spiritual blessings we have received through them, as well as our moral debt in light of the long, tragic history of Christian antisemitism.
The ICEJ is a non-denominational, faith-based ministry supported by the donations of our friends and supporters around the globe. The Christian Embassy is not an accredited diplomatic mission, but it does represent tens of millions of Christians worldwide, including many churches and entire denominations, who share a biblical worldview which compels them to bless and comfort Israel in our day. We invite you to join with us as we faithfully carry out our mandate to show favour to the Jewish nation and people.

The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) has been created to provide a world-class facility to serve as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for Bomber Command.
Lincoln has been chosen for the site as it provides a central point for all 27 bases that earned Lincolnshire the title of ‘Bomber County’.
Lincoln’s Cathedral provided a landmark for crews both leaving and returning from missions and, for those who failed to return, the Cathedral was often their last image of home. The county housed over a third of all the WWII Bomber Command Stations, making it the ideal home for this commemoration of the bravery of the men of Bomber Command.
The IBCC provides one of the most comprehensive records of Bomber Command in the world and will ensure that generations to come can learn of their vital role in protecting the freedom we enjoy today.

Jews have served in the British Armed Forces for centuries, but their numbers were only first recorded in the late 1800s.
Of the six million men who served in the First World War, 50,000 of them were Jewish. After the war, many began meeting up in ex-service clubs and in 1921 a group of Jewish veterans laid their first wreath at the Cenotaph. This small but important gesture became very important to the Jewish community, a physical statement that we had made our contribution.
In 1929, with the rise in Anti-Semitism and fascism in Europe, Jewish veterans grew concerned: a meeting was held in the East End of London and the Jewish Ex-servicemen’s Legion was formed. The following year, they organised their first annual Remembrance Parade at Whitehall.
To avoid any confusion with the British Legion (now the Royal British Legion) the organisation changed its name to the Association of Jewish Ex-servicemen and women in 1936.
The aims were simple: to continue Remembrance of the Jewish contribution to the military; to combat anti-Semitism through education; and to provide welfare for Jewish veterans and their families.
Following the Second War, when over 70,000 Jews served in the British Armed Forces (out of a total of 2.9 million military personnel), the work of AJEX continued in earnest. The need to provide support to the veteran community and ensure a robust British counter to anti-Semitism was even more important.
Active education programmes were launched, alongside continued welfare networks and the annual Remembrance Parade. All this work continues today.
